Skagit Regional Health has an immediate opening for a per diem Physician Assistant to join our General Surgery team in Arlington, Washington. Highlights

  • In this role, you will help provide support to our current team of three (3) physicians and three (3) PAs.
  • Responsibilities will include seeing patients at our outpatient clinic, inpatient rounding, and first assisting in the OR.
  • Expected schedule of 1-2 shifts per week to help cover upcoming vacations and leaves.
  • Integrated EPIC EMR platform utilized system-wide throughout the organization.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in physician assistant studies from an accredited program.
  • Active Washington State license or ability to obtain a Washington State license before start.
  • 2-3 years of experience in surgery is highly preferred.
  • Must have active BLS certification before starting or within first week of employment.
  • The ideal candidate will place a priority on improving lives through compassionate and innovative healthcare and focus on building lasting relationships with their patients as well as strong ties within the community.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Shift rate: $86/hour
