MUSC Health Columbia Medical Center is seeking a BC/BE General Surgeon/Surgicalist to join our team in Columbia, South Carolina. This is an opportunity to focus exclusively on emergency and acute surgical care within a hospital setting.  This is an exciting opportunity for a General Surgeon to enjoy an excellent quality of life, while working alongside highly trained physicians and support staff.

Required Qualifications:

  • Candidates must be Board Certified/Board Eligible in General Surgery

  • Completion of an accredited General Surgery residency program.

  • Must hold a valid unrestricted South Carolina Medical License. 

  • Strong clinical, surgical, and patient communication skills.

  • Experience with minimally invasive techniques preferred.

  • Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
