MUSC Health Primary Care – Elgin is seeking a compassionate and motivated Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our growing primary care team. MUSC Health Primary Care – Elgin is uniquely positioned within the MUSC Health Midlands Division, providing providers and patients access to the resources and expertise of both MUSC Health Kershaw Medical Center and MUSC Health Columbia Medical Center Northeast.

Required Qualifications:
- Advanced Practice Provider: Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
- Current South Carolina licensure or eligibility for licensure
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- DEA and applicable state prescribing credentials prior to start date
- Family medicine or primary care experience preferred
- Passion for delivering patient-centered, evidence-based care
- Commitment to quality improvement, teamwork, and clinical excellence
Position Highlights:
- Provide comprehensive primary care services for patients across the lifespan
- Perform preventive health assessments, annual wellness visits, and chronic disease management
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
- Conduct comprehensive histories and physical examinations
- Order, interpret, and utilize laboratory and diagnostic testing to guide treatment plans
- Provide patient education focused on preventive care and healthy lifestyle management
- Coordinate care with specialists and other healthcare professionals as needed
- Document and bill for direct patient care services
