MUSC Health – Orangeburg is seeking a compassionate and skilled Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our growing Neurology team. This position offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive care for patients with a wide range of neurological conditions in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The APP will work collaboratively with an established Neurologist and interdisciplinary care team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

Required Qualifications:

  • Advanced Practice Provider: Nurse Practitioner (FNP, ANP, or AGNP) or Physician Assistant 
  • Current South Carolina licensure or eligibility for licensure 
  • Current BLS certification 
  • DEA and applicable state prescribing credentials prior to start date 
  • Neurology experience preferred but not required 
  • Minimum of two years of APP experience preferred 
  • Commitment to delivering outstanding patient care and working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

Position Highlights:

  • Provide comprehensive neurological assessments, diagnosis, treatment planning, and ongoing management of patients with acute and chronic neurological conditions 
  • Perform inpatient rounding and neurological consultations 
  • Provide ambulatory clinic services in the outpatient setting 
  • Coordinate care with physicians, specialists, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals 
  • Evaluate patients using history, physical examination, laboratory data, diagnostic testing, and imaging results
