Breast Imaging Radiologist near SC Beaches- MUSC Health Florence Medical Center

The Department of Radiology & Radiological Science at The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) is seeking a Breast Imaging Radiologist to work full-time at their hospitals in the Pee Dee region. The Pee Dee region consists of three hospitals: Florence SC, Marion SC, and Black River SC. All are located within a short drive from one another.

This community-based practice uses a streamlined, multidisciplinary approach to provide high quality, compassionate care to patients in the Pee Dee region. Join a team committed to providing our patients with the highest level of care while maintaining a supportive and comfortable environment.

Required Qualifications:

• Candidate should have a strong foundation in all aspects of breast imaging including screening and diagnostic mammography, MRI, biopsies and localizations
• Candidate must be BC or BE and be MQSA certified and have completed a one-year fellowship in Breast Imaging

Position Highlights:

• Full-time onsite position Monday – Friday (8AM-5PM)
• No Weekends 
• No Call
• Great mix of screening and diagnostic mammography. All units are tomosynthesis.  Perform image guided biopsies including ultrasound, MRI, stereotactic, and localization procedures.
• Single VPN with Sectra PACs; PowerScribe dictation system
• Work with state-of-the-art equipment 
• Staff are well-established, collaborative and dedicated to the hospital and communities
• Supported by a premier cancer institute, radiologists enjoy excellent professional relationships with dedicated breast sub-specialists in Breast Medical Oncology, Breast Genetics, Breast Surgical Oncology, Breast Radiation, Breast Pathology, Breast Surgery, and Plastic/Reconstructive Surgery.
• Weekly dedicated Breast Tumor Boards serve as working conferences to deliver the highest quality medicine to each patient in a considerate, caring, and timely manner.
