Inpatient Medical Director

LifePoint Rehabilitation is seeking a physician to serve as Medical Director of the inpatient rehabilitation unit at Kindred Hospital Sugar Land in Sugar Land, Texas. This is an exceptional opportunity to lead a collaborative rehabilitation program while maintaining an active clinical practice in one of the Houston area's most desirable communities.

As Medical Director, you will work closely with an experienced interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered rehabilitation care to individuals recovering from stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, neurological disorders, orthopedic conditions, and other medically complex diagnoses.

About the Rehabilitation Unit

The 11-bed acute inpatient rehabilitation unit at Kindred Hospital Sugar Land provides comprehensive rehabilitation services for patients recovering from:

• Stroke and neurological conditions

• Brain injury

• Spinal cord injury

• Amputations

• Orthopedic and musculoskeletal disorders

• Debility and medically complex conditions

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation; or qualifying specialty

• Eligible for unrestricted Texas medical licensure

• Demonstrated leadership skills and commitment to patient-centered rehabilitation care

• Strong communication and collaboration abilities

• Prior leadership or medical directorship experience preferred but not required
