Position Overview
Denver Health Medical Center is seeking a fellowship-trained, Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Pediatric Otolaryngologist to join our growing Division of Otolaryngology--Head and Neck Surgery.
This is an exceptional opportunity to build and grow a pediatric ENT practice within one of Colorado's largest and most comprehensive safety-net health systems. **A Strong, Built-In Pediatric Referral Base**
Denver Health offers a uniquely robust referral network for pediatric ENT. Our OBGYN team delivers more than 4,000 babies each year---nearly one-third of all births in the City and County of Denver. Our pediatric and primary care practices also provide care to more than 70,000 pediatric patients annually across the Denver metro area.
In addition, Denver Health operates 19 school-based health centers within Denver Public Schools, creating additional opportunities to serve children directly within their communities.
Together, these services provide a strong and diverse pipeline of pediatric patients while allowing our pediatric ENT team to collaborate closely with Audiology, Speech-Language Pathology, Dentistry, Pediatrics, and other pediatric specialists across the health system.
**A Collaborative, Multidisciplinary Team**
* Join a collaborative Division of 5 Otolaryngology physicians and 3 full-time Advanced Practice Providers
* Work alongside established subspecialty expertise in Head and Neck Oncologic and Endocrine Surgery, Laryngology, and Facial Plastics and Reconstructive Surgery
* Opportunity to develop and grow additional pediatric ENT subspecialty interests
* Collaborate with pediatric specialists and multidisciplinary teams across Denver Health

**Responsibilities**
* Provide high-quality, patient-centered pediatric otolaryngology care in outpatient, inpatient, and surgical settings
* Perform a broad range of pediatric otolaryngology procedures consistent with training and clinical interests
* Participate in shared otolaryngology call coverage in collaboration with the University of Colorado
* Collaborate with pediatricians, surgeons, specialists, therapists, and other multidisciplinary teams
* Participate in teaching and education of medical students, residents, and other learners
* Engage in quality improvement and initiatives that advance care for Denver Health's diverse patient population
* Contribute to the continued growth and development of pediatric ENT services at Denver Health
Qualifications
* MD or DO degree
* Board Certified or Board Eligible in Otolaryngology--Head and Neck Surgery
* Fellowship training in Pediatric Otolaryngology
* Eligible for medical licensure in the State of Colorado
* Commitment to providing high-quality care to a diverse and underserved patient population
* Strong communication and collaborative skills
* Interest in teaching, quality improvement, and/or academic medicine is encouraged
Salary Range (USD)
$335,200.00 - $464,500.00 / yr
