We are recruiting for a mission-driven Nocturnist Critical Care Hospitalist (PRN) to join our team!

**Job Summary**Responsible for providing care to patients during their stay at a hospital. Their duties include managing schedules for inpatient treatments and coordinating care providers, ordering tests and maintaining medical records for their patients.

Expected shifts: 2-5/month**Essential Functions**:

* Follow up on patient care, discuss patient care with nurses and resolve any problems that may arise. (30%)
* Coordinate care between different doctors caring for a patient, serve as point of contact for hospital staff and maintain communication with the patient's family. (30%)
* Service on committees and work to help improve efficiency, patient care and infection control while fostering teamwork and improving communication between staff and physicians. (30%)
* Serve as a working liaison between administration and physicians. (10%)


Qualifications

**Education**:

* Doctorate Degree from an accredited medical school and completed accredited residency program and fellowship for specialist, or equivalent. Required

**Work Experience**:

**Licenses**:

* MD-Physician - State Medical Board Required

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**:

* Knowledge of and ability to apply professional medical principles, procedures and techniques.
* Thorough knowledge of pharmacological agents used in patient treatment.
* Able to effectively manage and direct medical staff support activities while providing quality medical care.
* Able to receive detailed information through oral communications; express or exchange ideas by verbal communications.
* Excellent written and verbal communications, listening, and social skills.
* Able to interact effectively with people of varied educational, socioeconomic and ethnic backgrounds, skill levels and value systems.
* Performs in a tactful and professional manner.
* A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
* Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.


Salary Range (USD)

$239,400.00 - $281,100.00 / yr (Pay range listed is for 1.0 full-time equivalent (FTE). See Work Type for actual FTE)
