Covenant Health

Job Summary:
St. Joseph Healthcare is seeking the right Physician Associate or Nurse Practitioner to join our Internal Medicine team in Bangor, Maine.
This is a unique, non-panelized position focused on providing same-day acute care visits and supporting our panelized providers with desktop coverage. It offers the opportunity to practice primary care without the responsibility of managing your own patient panel.
For a new graduate PA or NP, this is an excellent opportunity to build valuable primary care experience, develop confidence in a supportive environment, and gain the skills needed to eventually manage your own panel. For an experienced APP, this position offers the opportunity to continue practicing primary care while stepping away from the demands and long-term responsibilities of maintaining a dedicated patient panel.
Whether you're looking to build your primary care career or enjoy a different approach to outpatient practice, this role offers the flexibility and support to make it a great fit.
We Offer:
- A great work-life balance with our APP’s working a four day work week.
- Practice closes at 5 PM
- Closed on major holidays and weekends
- Limited call that is spread among all primary care providers
- A competitive salary and benefits package
- Sign On Bonus
- Student Loan Repayment
- A great CME package that includes additional support for new graduate APP’s or those experienced APP’s who are new to primary care.
