Transfer Center Physicians
Billings Clinic is seeking Transfer Center Physicians, with a strong
understanding of the care continuum for rural and frontier medicine
transfers across the region, to work shifts in the Regional Operations
Center at Billings Clinic Hospital.
• One Medical Director at 0.2 FTE plus 0.3 clinical time (0.5 FTE total)
• Multiple MD/DO positions available with flexible FTE (0.1- 0.3)
• Work at the new Regional Operations Center in the downtown
Billings Hospital
• Any specialty considered
• Billings-based location
• Shifts are 12 hours, from 8 am to 8 pm

Successful candidates for this role will have and value:
• Expertise in managing patient transitions from diverse rural settings
into our hospital.
• Ensuring seamless and high-quality care for individuals arriving
from remote communities.
• Collaboration, working closely with hospital teams as well as
regional healthcare providers to facilitate effective communication,
coordinated care plans, and positive patient outcomes.
• A key role in helping Billings Clinic enhance throughput, optimizing
processes to promote timely and efficient transitions and care
delivery.
• Commitment to partnership and teamwork, both within the
hospital and throughout the region.
